Terri Henry is the director and founder of natural wellness and
sustainability business, Onelove Livity. www.onelovelivity.com She is a natural health
practitioner, facilitator and educator whose work spans a variety of
professions. Terri has been involved in the Health and Wellness industry from
the age of 15 and has developed a strong network of pioneering leaders around
the world. Since moving to
Dominica
in 2004 she has actively contributed to developing this sector on the island.
More than just an occupation, health and wellness is her natural way of being
that she incorporates into her everyday lifestyle. Terri is a vibrant and
multifaceted individual who easily interacts with all levels of society. She is
the proud mother of a girl, born in July 2008 and a boy born in October 2009.

Planning Consultant
Led onsite workshops
to inform the planning process enhance the development of master plans for
Ecolodge projects in Dominica, Belize and Costa Rica.
Specialized in
developing eco spa strategies with advice on specific wellness services that
are in harmony with the local environment for Ecolodges in Belize and Costa
Rica.
Research
for the ‘Authentic Ecolodges’ book
Wrote the book
proposal for the upcoming book by Ecolodge and Sustainable Tourism expert
Hitesh Mehta and gained a publishing contract with Harper Collins.
Conducted web based
and publications research on all Ecolodges around the world.
Evaluated each Ecolodge
based on international criteria and compiled an extensive guide on those
selected for inclusion in the book.
Visited and
researched Ecolodges in Belize, Saba, St John, Dominica, Kenya and Uganda.
Health
and Wellness Tourism Consultant
Terri has worked as a
consultant for the Discover Dominica Authority to promote and increase Health and Wellness Tourism
on the island.
March-May 2009 - Terri researched and wrote an online directory listing
all the major natural wellness practitioners on the island which can now be
found on the Discover
Dominica Website. She also hosted a press conference to launch the
site followed by a one-day Health and Wellness Symposium.
May 2010 - Terri organised a raw foods workshop featuring Chantel Selman from Barbados and a one-day Health and Wellness Expo which featured
an exhibition of locally available Health & Wellness services and
products, a vibrant program of interactive classes and workshops and
an ital foods bar.

In 2006 Terri wrote
a white paper on Health and Wellness tourism in Dominica based on what
she felt was the urgent need to address the gaps in the industry and make it a
more profitable one. With her experience in multiple aspects of this field she
is well positioned to deliver high quality services that will further enhance
and develop this sector.
